The Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy witnessed a remarkable turnout for its 2024/2025 cohort applications.
A total of 12,517 registrations were received, reflecting the growing interest in leadership and public service among young Nigerians. Out of these, 3,222 registrations were completed, with 2,499 applicants qualifying for the second stage of the screening process.
The second stage, a Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBT), offered flexibility to candidates by allowing them to choose between taking the test physically at the JKK House on Ikorodu Road, Lagos, or virtually from the comfort of their homes.
The virtual option was introduced to accommodate applicants who were unable to make it to the physical venue or who reside in other states, ensuring broader accessibility and convenience.
Following the CBT, successful candidates will proceed to the next stage, which involves a Written Communication (Essay) test. This phase will evaluate applicants’ writing skills and their understanding of leadership and nation-building, essential qualities for the future leaders the Academy aims to groom.
The Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy continues to uphold its commitment to nurturing young talent and preparing them for impactful roles in governance and public service.
As the selection process advances, the academy looks forward to identifying and supporting the next generation of Nigerian leaders.
