The Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy recently hosted the Chairman, Ecobank Nigeria PLC, who doubles as the Chairman, Board of Trustees, Lagos State Employment Trust Fund(LSETF), Mrs. Bola Adesola on a learning visit, where she shared leadership strategies that shaped her career.
The Chairman, who is a highly accomplished professional with over 34 years in the banking and financial services industry, highlighted the importance of diversity in leadership, while imploring Fellows of the Academy to embrace hard work and resilience as a means to achieving set goals.
Adesola emphasized the importance of fostering a corporate culture built on integrity, accountability, and responsible business practices, while restating how essential these principles are for self-development.
“It is very impressive that Lagos State Government is grooming young talents through the Academy, therefore, I urge the Fellows to maximize the opportunities and connections that will be made during the course of their fellowship” she said.
The Executive Secretary for the Academy, Mrs. Ayisat Agbaje-Okunade, reiterated the commitment of the Academy in its deliberate collaboration with industry leaders and organisations that promote the goal of grooming impeccable Fellows, who will transform public service through innovative ideas and initiatives.
