In a bid to instill the values of effective leadership and personal development, Ms. Oluwaseun Oni, the Group Managing Director/CEO of A.G. Leventis (Nigeria) Limited, shared her wealth of knowledge and experience with Fellows of the Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy(LJLA).
During the interactive Fireside Chat, Oni, who has over 25 years of professional experience in Business Advisory, Assurance and financial strategies, emphasised the critical importance of self-awareness in the journey of leadership.
“Understanding oneself is the foundation of effective leadership, because It allows you to recognize your strengths and weaknesses, and leverage them to become impactful leaders” she said.
She further urged the Fellows to strive to be thought leaders who use their voices positively.
“In a world inundated with information, it is vital to be a beacon of positive influence. By so doing, Your voice should uplift, inspire, and guide others towards constructive change” she added.
In her closing remarks, Ms. Oni highlighted the necessity of being impactful leaders who cultivate the right sphere of influence.

She commended Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for the establishment of LJLA and praised the initiative for its role in nurturing the next generation of leaders who are equipped to offer innovative solutions to the nation’s challenges.
