Work Experience
As a Fellow of the academy, you will hold the position of Special Assistant to the Governor within your assigned Ministry, Department, or Agency, gaining valuable work experience through rotational shadowing of members of the Lagos State Cabinet.
CAPSTONE
Fellows spearhead a high-impact leadership project of their choosing, focusing on community transformation. Annually, each cohort collaborates on a significant, people-centred initiative designed to enhance the lives of Lagosians.
Fellowship Network
Fellows gain valuable insights through structured and informal one-on-one leadership coaching and learning experiences, fostering public and social awareness. Ultimately, our program establishes an alumni network of highly potential youths.

Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy
The Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy (LJLA) is a transformative initiative by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu that places the highest priority on the development and grooming of young, change-oriented individuals who are passionate about shaping the future of Nigeria.
At its core, the Academy is driven by a mission to cultivate a new generation of visionary leaders who are not only equipped with technical knowledge but also deeply imbued with values of integrity, innovation, and public service. LJLA seeks to empower these young individuals to become catalysts for positive change by providing them with a nurturing environment where their leadership potential can be fully realised.
